Looking after the wellbeing of so many people with alopecia is a quite a responsibility and who better to take that on than the parents of a young woman with alopecia. Parents who have been in those shoes, experienced the pain, and come out on the other side.
Deanna and Gary Beattie have been closely involved in the alopecia community ever since their daughter Libby lost her hair at a young age.
They were amazed at what a difference the Freedom prosthetic made in her life and not only wanted but were compelled to help others deal with the emotional minefield of losing their hair.
In 2015 they took this responsibility head on and now own Freedom Wigs Ltd ensuring its future is in the safest hands.
